From reproductive rights rollbacks to rising male suicide, we’ll unpack who gets left behind - and what hope looks like in systems that were never designed for care.
Loneliness, Burnout, & Capitalism
In a world more digitally connected than ever, many of us feel profoundly alone. This post explores the complex roots of today’s loneliness crisis—from the existential nature of human isolation to the systemic alienation driven by capitalism. Drawing from existential therapy and Marxist theory, it examines how modern work culture, remote life, and economic structures contribute to disconnection and burnout. It also challenges counselors and communities to think beyond individual therapy and toward collective solutions that rebuild belonging and support.
